The Coastal and Port Engineering course included the following topics: -Basic concepts of coastal engineering and how they are applied to the engineering and protection of onshore and offshore infrastructures -Principles of port engineering and their considerations for marine vessels, LNG ships, marine infrastructures and shore-based facilities -Engineering for the fendering of docks -Considerations and design principles for the mooring and berthing of cargo ships and LNG vessels analysis and design of fixed structures in the water basins and on shore
