GPDP 2 held a 2-part training on 11-12 August 2021 on Basic and Advanced LNG.  The courses included characteristics of LNG influencing design and material selection as well as LNG fuel system components, equipment installations, operation, and decommissioning. Mr. Anthony Scaraggi of AJS Consulting and Advisement LLC served as resource speaker and shared his valuable knowledge and expertise on the natural gas industry.

Over 80 participants were in attendance on both days with representatives coming from various government agencies including: Batangas City Engineer’s Office, Batangas City Health Office, DENR-EMB Calabarzon, DENR-EMB IV-A, Department of Energy, DILG- Bureau of Fire Protection, DOLE- Quezon Provincial Office, DOLE- Bureau of Working Conditions, House of Representatives, MARINA, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Ports Authority, and Senate Committee on Energy.

The training was co-organized with the USAID Asia Gas Partnership, U.S. Department of Commerce- Commercial Law Development Program, United States Energy Association, Gas Technology Institute and was supported by the U.S. Department of State.
