Techno-Economic Feasibility of the Natural Gas Use in Special Economic Zones

This study mapped the infrastructure of non–natural gas facilities among Batangas manufacturing SEZs, determined the logistics for delivering LNG to these zones, and assessed the feasibility of small-scale LNG-based power systems. Findings emphasized practical delivery models and cost scenarios that could attract investment and facilitate adoption.

Mapping Natural Gas Demand in Batangas Manufacturing Special Economic Zones

This study estimates the actual natural gas demand of manufacturing locators in Batangas special economic zones (SEZs) and evaluates the economic viability of transitioning to natural gas. The findings indicate consistently high energy demand in these zones, positioning them as viable markets for LNG conversion.
